For Your Comfort and Convenience

  • Nitrous oxide analgesia is offered to all patients to make you more relaxed and comfortable during dental procedures.
  • We offer digital x-rays that emit 1/4 of the radiation of traditional film x-rays and are easily transmitted electronically to dental specialists and insurance companies. Digital radiographs are also environmentally friendly because there are no processing chemicals to be disposed of.

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Implants
Implants are titanium anchors that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are accepted by the body and your bone grows around them for support just like an artificial joint. The implant acts as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like metal or porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Toothaches
Toothaches are normally caused by an inflamed nerve or infection. Hypersensitivity is a common occurrence that happens after trauma or extensive dental work. This usually manifests as a temporary sensitivity to cold or hot. Spontaneous pain is almost always a sign of a serious dental problem. If you experience pain that wakes you up at night or comes on without a stimulus, you should contact a dentist as soon as possible.

Dental Emergencies
Our goal is to help you to minimize the risk of emergency treatment. This is why we commit a generous amount of time to education and prevention of dental problems that will help you to offset the possibility of unforeseen pain or tooth breakage. It is necessary for you to take an active role in your dental care. This includes maintaining regular preventative visits (cleanings/exams) and notifying us early if you think you are developing a problem.
